The Mission of AAOT
The Alumni Association for Advanced Optical Technologies e.V (AAOT) brings together current and former Master’s and doctoral students, employees and sponsors of the Elite Master’s Programme in “Advanced Optical Technologies“ (MAOT) and the Erlangen Graduate School in Advanced Optical Technologies (SAOT) at the Friedrich-Alexander University of Erlangen-Nürnberg.
The purpose of the Association is to facilitate and maintain the exchange of ideas and contact between members of MAOT and SAOT, international scientists and representatives from industry, to promote identification with the University and the elite groups MAOT and SAOT, and to support the professional development and training of students and doctoral researchers in the field of optical technologies.
